Gerald L. Ray

Mr. Ray has a varied and distinguished career in the glass industry beginning with a variety of positions in the flat and automotive glass segments. His initial industry employment was with Libbey Owens Ford (LOF, now Pilkington NA) as a Marketing Representative. He was promoted to District Manager where he served for four years before being promoted to Regional Manager for Automotive Glass with responsibility for 13 western states. Mr. Ray left LOF to become Regional Vice President of Solaglas International, a South African-based manufacturer/distributor of automotive glass. He began his entrepreneurial experience with Mr. Neil Smith as co-owner of Western Windshields, a distribution company. In addition to developing an expansion plan Mr. Ray focused on improving the profit performance of the company, while growing it from 3 to 7 locations in the Northwest. Western was successfully sold to PPG Industries in 1992. Mr. Ray was a cofounder and Managing Partner of Elite Auto Glass/Glaspro, a retail automotive glass business. The business grew to 34 locations in 8 western states and was widely regarded as one of the most successful retail auto glass operations in the US. In 2005 the company was successfully sold to Belron, the world’s largest retail auto glass company. In 2006 Mr. Ray and Mr. Smith founded Pacific Fabrication and Distribution, a business formed to distribute glass products to the heavy truck segment. The company was sold successfully to Orion in 2010. Mr. Ray is a founder and Managing Partner of LRST, LLC, and has served as Vice President and Managing Partner of Guardian Auto Glass, LLC.

Marc E. Talbert

Mr. Talbert is an executive leader with broad experience in general management, sales and operational leadership with strengths in organizational design, strategic planning, business growth and financial discipline. He is a Managing Partner and one of the founding members of LRST, LLC. He previously served as Vice President and Managing Partner of Guardian Auto Glass, LLC, the retail automotive glass joint venture formed between LRST and Guardian Glass Company. Prior to this Mr. Talbert served for 29 years with PPG Industries, holding key general management and leadership roles within PPG’s automotive replacement glass division (ARG). He was Vice President and General Manger of North American ARG for Pittsburgh Glass Works, the joint venture company formed following the successful sale of PPG’s ARG business to a private equity firm in 2008. Mr. Talbert was part of the integration team that formed PPG Auto Glass, LLC in 2000, the joint venture between PPG and Apogee Enterprises. He served as President and board member of PPG Auto Glass until 2008. He held prior positions as Market Manager, Regional Manager and Regional Vice President for PPG’s ARG distribution business. Mr. Talbert spent the early part of his career in PPG’s commercial construction and flat glass groups in sales and account management positions.
